IMERT is accredited by SEBI as Commodities Derivative Trainer (CoT). As part of accreditation process SEBI decided to hold Training of Trainers (ToT) residential program of two days for SEBI recognized Commodity Derivatives Trainers (CoTs) at Chennai on August 13-14, 2018.

The training program was organized by National Institute of Securities Markets (NISM). IMERT as recognized CoTs nominated following four trainers to attend to the said ToT program;

• 2. Dr. Uttam Sapate
• 3. Mr. Vijay Sonaje
• 4. Mr. Sandeep Hegade

The inaugural of the program was done in the hands of NISM Director and Regional Director of SEBI. The sessions in two days program were conducted by experts from SEBI, NCDEX and MCX. With participation of 35 trainers the IMERT’s all four faculty members are now certified as Commodities Derivatives Trainers by SEBI / NISM. As CoTs IMERT will be conducting Commodities Derivative Awareness Programmes for the benefit of stakeholders throughout Maharashtra.
