TiE –My Story Session

The highly interactive session commenced with our Director, Dr. Shriram Nerlekar felicitating Mr.Niranjan Waghmare with book – travelogue --‘Journey To The Himalayas-An Elevating Experience’ by Vinay & Viraj Nair.

On 6th February 2016, ‘My Story Session’ was organized at IMERT campus in association with The Indus Entrepreneurs (TiE). Mr. Niranjan Waghmare, Founder & Managing Director, Vertois Taining and Consultancy Pvt. Ltd., shared his journey from BE,College of Engineering, Karad ; M.Tech , IIT Mumbai (Industrial Management) to starting his own venture.

He shared 16 years of international corporate experience of holding key positions across Europe, Middle East, Africa and India. He spoke on how he urged to start his own venture (which was finally done in 2011) especially for the people residing in interior and rural areas of India.

He emphasized that it is always possible to start & succeed in a new field irrespective of completely different educational background one has, citing his own example. He also reflected that with the ‘Start-up India Initiative’ procedures and regulations have become conducive to entrepreneurs.
