Teachers' Day (Part- 1) - Today Dr Jitendra Bhandari (Director I/C IMERT) and IMERT staff celebrated Teachers day by worshiping image of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan.
Teachers Day is a special day for the appreciation of teachers, celebrated in India on 5th Sep, as a tribute to an Indian philosopher, academic and statesman Dr Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, who served as the first Vice President of India and the second President of India. One of India's most distinguished twentieth-century scholars of comparative religion and philosophy, who served as professors not only at Madras Presidency College, the University of Mysore and the University of Calcutta but also at University of Oxford and then at the University of Chicago.
Teachers' Day (Part-2) - Students organised an event for professors in an Online mode using Google meet app at 5.30 pm on 5th Sep 2020 to celebrate Teachers Day.
It included various games such as Riddles, Tongue twisters, guessing of names using smiles. etc. Teachers and students enjoyed the moments a lot.
